IG Index recently updated its iPhone application following feedback from users. IG first released the iPhone application in August this year, offering clients the ability to trade anywhere and to read real-time news from Reuters.
The latest update integrates improved functions and brand new tools. The most important improvements include:
- Account history – clients can now check past operations.
- Login details – password can be saved and remembered for future quicker access
- Customisable homepage – the initial page can be customised to fit client needs
- Market info – detailed information about each market is now provided
- Automatic chart refresh – charts are updated automatically in 5-second, 10-second, or 20-second intervals, set by the client.
- Technical Indicators – six popular technical indicators for chart analysis and pattern identification were added, including RSI, Bollinger Bands, and Moving Averages.

The iPhone application is available at the Apple App Store. IG Index also provides a mobile platform for BlackBerry and Android.
